The Ethiopian national football team ( Walia Ibex) beat Madagascar 4-0 in the 33rd Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in Bahir Dar International Stadium.The Walias won by four goals from Emmanuel G. Michael (19th minute), Getaneh Kebede (34th minute), Abubakar Nasser (41st minute) and Shimeles Bekele (86th minute).
Following the victory, the Walia Ibex took the lead of the group by nine points (taking into account the Ivory Coast and Niger have one game to play). Madagascar, who lost three points today, moved up to third place.
