Paris Olympics 2024# Ethiopian Marathon team officially announced by Ethiopian Athletics Federation!

Kenenisa Bekele, a three-time Olympics and five-time world champion, will lead the Ethiopian team in the marathon alongside Sisay Lemma and Deresa Geleta. Tamirat Tola Adera and Eusedin Mohammed Issa are also on standby if needed.

In the women’s category, we have current World record-holders Tigist Assefa, Amane Barisso, and Megertu Alemu showcasing their skills. Gotytom Tekilezeg Geberesilassie is the fourth and Buze Kejela fifth choice, ready to step in if necessary.
