ከመስከረም 2013 ጀምሮ የኢትዮጵያ ብሔራዊ ቡድንን በዋና አሰልጣኝነት የመሩት ውበቱ አባተ ከኃላፊነታቸው ለመልቀቅ ለኢትዮጵያ እግር ኳስ ፌዴሬሽን ጥያቄ አቅርበው የነበረ ሲሆን የሥራ አስፈፃሚ ኮሚቴ በጉዳዩ ላይ ተወያይቶ የአሰልጣኙን መልቀቂያ በመቀበሉ በጋራ ስምምነት ተለያይተዋል።
የኢትዮጵያ እግር ኳስ ፌዴሬሽን አሰልጣኝ ውበቱ አባተ በኢትዮጵያ ብሔራዊ ቡድን ለነበራቸው ቆይታ ምስጋናውን እያቀረበ በቀጣይ የሥራ ሕይወታቸው መልካም የሥራ ጊዜ እንዲገጥማቸው ልባዊ ምኞቱን ይገልፃል።
Ethiopian Football Federation parted ways with Ethiopian National Team head coach Wubetu Abate on mutual consent.
Wubetu, who was on the helm since September 2020, submitted his resignation latter a week before. Following the decision of EFF executive committee to accept the resignation, the contract terminated by mutual consent.
Ethiopian Football Federation would like to thank Wubetu Abate for the time he has been with Walias and wish him the best with his future endeavors. Meanwhile The Ethiopian Football Federation is expected to appoint a new coach in the coming few days.
